Getting your beloved pet the best medical attention can be a real pump for your wallet but that won’t really matter for you now as long as you want to give all the best for your pet dog or cat or just about any other animal. But there will always come a time when you will feel that your budget is in a tight hotspot but you don’t have to worry, you don’t need to go out and spend valuable time and money in taking care of your pet. You just need to go online and find some pet medication sites.

Just like in humans, pet medications include medicines and treatment and even surgery for your dear fur-coated friend or your very purr-ty feline. And don’t forget the cost of shipping per order of pet medicines, too, and there is a difference in prescribed and non-prescribed items.

If you would look deeper into it, it can really cost you more a lot than you think but you should be grateful for the existence of sites that offer pet medications.

There are now numerous online facility for pet medications being provided by veterinary and pharmaceutical companies and you could just wonder how truly caring and concern these people are and they offer much cheaper rates and sometimes they are even discounted and that would be a real treat for both pet owners and the pet themselves. They can let you save at around 60 to 65% on pet medication’s costs. And if you do order from these sites by volume, you can also enjoy volume discount rates.

One of the most common complaints of pet owners is it’s really difficult to find prescription pet medication. However, these medications can easily be found online at pet pharmacies. You will also be able to find different brands for the same prescription, which will allow you to be able to choose the brand that works best for your pet.

Now, with everything in line, you can say that pet medications bought in an online pet pharmacy is one way of beating the high prices which will make every pet owner elated. If you are spending hundreds of dollars on medication, you should be able to greatly reduce your spending by switching to an online pet pharmacy rather than bring your pet to your nearest vet’s clinic which the vet can charge you will neck-tightening prices.

There are many ways to get prepared for an ill pet. The first is to purchase pet health insurance. Veterinarian bills and pet medication can be expensive and having insurance will help you cover all the expenses. The second way to be prepared for your pet is to find an online pet pharmacy where you can easily purchase medication and this is all what you find in a nutshell.

And what about pet medication insurance policies? There are many sites that offer this kind of privilege and others don’t and the only thing you need to do to find out more, if you really care enough to give the very best for your pets is to have a first-hand information regarding pets health & welfare and pet medications sites and what exactly would be your best choice.

So you have decided to purchase a baby African Grey parrot to keep as a pet. The African Grey is the most popular talking parrot because of their clear pronunciation and tonality. They are also very highly priced because of the popularity and the high demand. This parrot specie is also extremely intelligent, making it a great pet to own in the house.

The most common place to purchase a baby African Grey is of course from a breeder. Usually, baby Greys are sold at twelve weeks old or fully weaned. By this time, they are strong enough to be handled by other persons other than the breeder. Have the bird you are going to purchase DNA sex tested with a certificate issued. You will also need to request for a hatch certificate showing the date of birth, name of parents and bird ring details. These are necessary details you will need to keep with you throughout the bird’s life. These documents will need to be produced should for some reason in the future you decide to give the bird away, or that the bird flew into a neighbor’s house and you need proof of ownership, or you decided to enter the bird in a bird show and the organizer’s need some private details, or you need to buy insurance for your bird, or maybe your bird one day is featured on national tv and they need to have it registered, et cetera.

Also take home with you a parrot sheet diet to familiarize yourself with the type of food required for the parrot. The breeder has wide experience in diet food and you should follow his advice on proper nutrition. The list should also include poisonous food and plants and make sure that none are found in the house.

A parrot aftercare and helpline is also good to have in case you run into an emergency. Have the helpline numbers stored safely near the phone so that they are readily available when you need them. You might also want to think about the possibility of insuring your African Grey. The breeder usually has great recommendations from insurance companies that may include a possible discount if you purchase from their handouts. Do ask the breeder if they carry these forms and compare the products offered if there are several companies to choose from.

Ask a list of avian vets in your area which your breeder should have. Try different vets on different occasions and compare their prices and services. Stick to one vet once you are comfortable with the service so that your African Grey can get a more focused treatment.

Before you head for home with the baby Grey, ensure you have enough fresh food for the day and the following day and have a pet carrier to take the bird home. It would be good if you could bring another person with you to help carry the pet carrier while you drive. If none is available, make sure the carrier is properly secured and safe, because the bird in it is just just a baby.

If one of your family members is a short, four legged little guy that says, ‘meow,’ you may have noticed that from time to time his skin can seem irritated. If your cat has problems that make him itch, or you notice that his skin is scaly and dry, he may have sensitive skin. Cats can have sensitive skin just like people, although we don’t think about this all of the time, because all we see on our cats is fur. However, there are many things which might cause your cat to have irritated and dry skin. Before you rush out to the vet for an expensive visit, you should know that there are some things you can do to help your cat feel more comfortable and have healthier skin.

If you give your cat regular baths, make sure that you are not bathing him with a harsh shampoo. Some pet owners use flea shampoo every time they bathe their cats because they want to keep the fleas away. However, there are some pretty harsh ingredients in these types of shampoo. Rather than bathing your cat in a flea shampoo, try some sort of flea collar or repellent. Switch out the flea shampoo for baby shampoo, or a cat shampoo that is designed for sensitive skin. Kitten shampoo is normally more gentle and soothing than other types.

Another thing you can do is switch foods and see if it makes a difference. There is always a possibility that your cat is experiencing a food allergy which might dry out the skin, irritate it, or make your cat itch. If you try a different food for a week, and notice that your cat seems to be doing well as far as his skin goes, you may want to make a permanent switch. Sometimes this is all it takes for your cat to return to normal and to alleviate the skin issues which cause your cat to be itchy and irritated. However, sometimes it has nothing to do with the food, and your cat simply has sensitive skin. In this case, you want to find something that will help heal the skin and make your cat more comfortable.

Shea Butter is great for cats with itchy and dry skin. It is full of healthy vitamins and minerals which protect a cat’s skin and heal it. It keeps your cat’s skin moisturized and alleviates itching and irritation. It’s very simple to use Shea Butter for your cat. Simply rub it between your hands to warm it and melt it a bit, and rub it into your cat’s fur and down to his skin. Make sure that you get a generous amount on the skin, so that the Shea Butter will work to combat skin irritants. It will help get rid of the reason your cat’s experiencing itchy skin, and it will work to make your cat more comfortable while the skin is healing.

We love our cats, and we hate to see them miserable. Using the tips and ideas above will really help your cat get back to normal soon. This makes for a happy cat. When the cat is happy and satisfied, so is his owner!

Group: Sporting

Weight: male: 65-80, female: 55-70 lbs

Height: male: 23-26 female: 21-24 inches

Overview

The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is originally from the United States, and often referred to as the “Chessie”. These dogs are enthusiastic hunters of fowls on both land and water. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever was the first retriever to be documented by the American Kennel Club. Even though they are not as well known today as the Golden or Labrador Retrievers, the Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are wonderful family and field companion dogs.

Temperament

The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is extremely loyal and deeply devoted; the Chesapeake Bay Retriever has a strong caring nature. This breed is gracious, warm, and loving. They will adapt best in a home with older caring children. In general, these dogs get along well with other dogs if they have been brought up with them. They do however have a tendency to be aggressive and hostile toward dogs they are not familiar with. This breed does not get along with cats and other, smaller household pets. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever loves to be involved with the family, and might become destructive when left alone for extended periods of time. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is not ideal for the inexperienced dog owner.

Care

These dogs should be brushed about once during the week to remove the dead hair. It is vital for these dogs not to be groomed too much as this will harm the coat. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever should only be bathed when it is really necessary in order to protect the integrity the coat. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is an average shedding dog.

Training

The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is very clever dog an intelligent dog that is very precise and devoted to their family when socialised and trained correctly. The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is not quite as fast to learn as some of the other breeds, and will require a tolerant trainer that will offer plenty of repetition. This breed should only be taught by one person until they have learned the command, otherwise they might become confused.

Health problems

Overall, the Chesapeake Bay Retriever is a rather healthy breed. They are however prone to bloat, and it is therefore advised that they rather have a number of small meals rather than one large meal. These dogs should also not exercise directly after eating. Hip dysplasia is a minor concern with these dogs, and progressive retinal atrophy and entropion are eye conditions that are also seen with the Chesapeake Bay Retriever.

Dogs or cats! Those words mean different things to different people. Which do you prefer? Those of us who have already made that decision know how satisfying it is to share our life with either a dog or a cat. Or perhaps both. Many of us love all types of animals. Even though that’s true, when it comes to choosing a pet, we definitely have certain ideas. Some of us have multi pet households, where a dog or a cat may rule over the other pets. You may have friends who only have cats because they are mostly independent and can stay home alone for longer periods of time than a dog can, and because they are litter box trained, you don’t have to rush home to let them out to relieve themselves. I have a mental picture in my mind of a dog sitting with his legs crossed waiting for his dog parent to come home so he can go out! It’s a funny picture, but I don’t think the dog is laughing.

Your lifestyle will probably dictate what type of pet you may have. If you work long hours, then a cat may be the best choice. Of course, if you’d rather have a dog, then maybe you could hire a pet sitter service to come to your home to let your dog outside a couple of times a day. That way, you can relax at work, knowing that your furry friend is not alone and uncomfortable for 12 hours a day. Pet sitters will also feed if need be. If you live in the city, they may also take your dog for a walk in the park. So much better for Fido!

Just a word of caution–always remember to check references before you hand over your dog and keys to your house. You want to be comfortable with the person coming into your home and caring for your dog.

There are many things to consider when deciding on a dog or a cat. Not all dogs or cats shed their fur, but dogs bark and cats shred the fabric on your sofa. If you visualize yourself throwing a Frisbee, you’ll need a hearty dog that can run and play hard. If you just want to play with little ping pong balls, then you can have a great time with a cat. Some cats are good mousers, but some dogs are also, particularly Terrier breeds. As some Terriers were bred to be ratters many years ago.

Whichever you choose, your life will be enriched. Please choose carefully so you don’t become unhappy with your choice and decide to surrender it to a shelter. Actually, visiting some animal shelters might help you to make up your mind. You could volunteer at your local shelter to walk the dogs and care for the cats. In this way, you’ll get a very good idea of what is required for responsible pet ownership. It’s a free education and the shelters can always use some extra help. The animals appreciate it, too.

The reward to you is devotion, unconditional love, and a great bond. Some of the best friends you’ll ever have ! It’s been reported that having a pet extends your life and gives you better health. They are great stress relievers as they will make you smile and laugh.

One of the first and most important basic pet care tips is looking after your pet’s diet. There are literally hundreds of different name brands, flavors, and kinds of food available for your pet to eat. It’s important that you check into each of the companies and check to make sure they haven’t recently had any kind of recall. Next, you’ll want to try and find the healthiest type of food your dog can eat. This can be difficult with so many choices, so be prepared to read a lot of labels.

Another aspect of keeping a close eye on your pet’s diet is making sure you watch for obesity in your animals. It is not healthy at all for your pet to be overweight and it can even shorten your pet’s life drastically. Weight gain is typical in pets as they get older so especially watch for obesity if your pet is starting to get up in age. Make sure to keep pet treats to a bare minimum and to not over do it, as this is a big factor in dog’s who become overweight. Most people already know not to give a dog or cat chocolate, but it’s good to be reminded. Chocolate can actually poison your animal and kill it.

Another of the basic pet care tips you need to know involves grooming. Grooming your family pet should be done on a regular basis and in some cases it should be done on a daily basis. Get a specially designed pet comb to help get rid of your pet’s loose hair and to help distribute the oil in your pet’s fur coat. This will make their coat shiny and it will look beautiful. Get a high quality pet shampoo to wash your pet in and also make sure to put to use any flea treatments that may help get rid of your dog’s flea problem.

If you don’t plan on using your pet to breed other litters of animals then you need to have that pet spayed or neutered. Not only does this prevent you having a ton of puppies to try and give away, it is also very healthy for your pet. In most cases it helps reduce the chances of prostate cancer in male animals and breast cancer in female animals. Many people who let their cat or dog have a lot of puppies or kittens end up creating a big stray pet problem, in which these animals end up with no loving homes and in shelters.

Exercising is another basic pet care tips must. Exercise helps to keep your dog from being overweight and unhealthy. It is also a great way for you to bond with your pet. Exercising also allows your dog to socialize with other dogs and will in general improve your dog’s over all attitude and behavior.

Your pet deserves your best care and attention for all the love and joy he or she brings to your life. Make sure you do your best to make sure your dog’s health needs and grooming needs are a top priority for you so that your dog will live a long and healthy life.

A 2002 study released by the American Medical Association stated that children raised from birth in multiple pet households may be less likely to develop allergic illnesses, such as asthma, allergies and eczema. Apparently, being exposed to the “germs” of dogs and cats early in life helps build the immune system.

Weight: Males 61-75 lbs; Female 48-61 lbs

Height: Males 23½ - 26 inches; Females 22-24½ inches

Overview

The Cesky Fousek was the most popular wirehaired Pointing dog in the district of the present day Czech and Slovakian Republics before the First World War. After the war, the Cesky Fousek was almost extinct - but after the First World War the rebirth of these dogs was established in 1930. The base for this rebirth was brought about by some of the unique distinctive specimen from which the modern type of Cesky Fousek was developed by deliberate breeding. The Cesky Fousek is a gundog which belongs to the family of wirehaired pointers of Continental Europe.

Temperament

This breed is full of energy, and loves to please their masters. The Cesky Fousek is a versatile gundog with an innate happiness in the fields, forests or water. These dogs are very trainable, and they have a natural instinct to go on point. It is very enjoyable to watch these dogs as they work. The Cesky Fousek is a very enthusiastic hunter, and they are able to cover huge areas of land, and they can also search unwearyingly in the wood to for birds when trained correctly. Seeing that the Cesky Fousek is a keen worker, they will follow scents tirelessly. This breed has a natural policing instinct, and will protect the open country against the beasts of prey, in particular roaming cats. These dogs are also very loyal toward their owners and families. The Cesky Fousek is a very noble and kind breed that is easily trainable. These dogs can bark quite a bit, and are also suspicious of strangers.

Care

The Cesky Fousek is a low maintenance dog; they can be groomed without too much effort. A brushing with a firm hair brush on a regular basis is sufficient for these dogs. These dogs should not be bathed very frequently, only when it is really necessary. It is advised that the coats of these dogs are dried properly after hunting sessions, as they tend to get cold very easily. The Cesky Fousek does not shed too heavily.

Training

Cesky Fouseks are highly trainable dogs, and they love to please their owners and families. It is however important that their training program should be varied as these dogs tend to become bored very easily. This in return might lead to destructive behavior.

Health problems

The Cesky Fousek has no known health problems, and these dogs usually live for 12 to 15 years.
